Jack is our President and one of the co-founders and visionaries behind Simplified IT Consulting. His role is a mix of big-picture strategy and day-to-day leadership, with a strong focus on sales and operations. Jack loves connecting with clients and helping them grow and thrive. He takes the time to understand their goals and challenges, then finds ways Simplified IT Consulting can strengthen their team, making their technology simpler, more secure, and more supportive of their business. On the operations side, he keeps things running smoothly behind the scenes, helping guide the team, refining processes, and making sure we’re always delivering the kind of service our clients can count on.
Before branching out on his own, Jack helped students and staff at High Tech Los Angeles grow and thrive as Director of Technology. He also led all aspects of technology for Touro University Worldwide, an online university, including the school’s learning management system and professional production studio. As Regional Director of Technical Field Services for the Cal Net Technology Group, he also led, coached, supervised and developed staff responsible for the San Fernando Valley. Jack earned his bachelor’s degree in information technology from the University of Phoenix and an MBA from Touro University Worldwide. He also holds an ITIL Foundations Certification and is involved with several local chambers of commerce.

What makes Simplified IT Consulting different from other companies you have worked with?
Our approach. We believe IT should be simple. Our solutions are often “simple yet effective,” solving sometimes complex issues in ways that make sense for our clients. Our people live by our core values and believe in the vision of keeping IT simple because a lot of business owners and employees are not technical. Technology scares them. We work to get them to embrace the use of technology and show them how the right solutions can help their businesses to grow and thrive.
What do you wish people knew about Simplified IT Consulting?
We really do great work. I know most companies say that — but we don’t lose clients because of our performance. We’ve grown by referral only for the past 10 years (this year is our 10th anniversary.) Our culture is so unique — we invite you to come to our office to see and understand how passionate we are. You have to have a special persona and have that “quirkiness” to work here. That’s what makes us special.
What’s your favorite part about working for Simplified IT Consulting and/or helping clients or coworkers?
The people. It’s always about the people. I wasn’t smart enough to become a doctor, but I can work on the systems doctors use to save people’s lives and that gives me happiness. It’s the same with other industries — helping people grow, educating them, and building that extended family. That’s what it’s all about.
How have you helped “save the day” for a client?
Our team has saved the day for many clients — our team deserves all the credit for the care and support they provide our clients.
What is your favorite thing about the Woodland Hills area? Do you have a favorite restaurant or any local places you love to go after work?
Definitely lots of food choices. We’re across the street from the LA Rams practice facility.
Anything you’d like to share about your family or personal history?
I’m very active with my family. Both my kids are in multiple sports such as swimming, dance and Judo. We love to go camping and vacation any time we have the opportunity to. It’s also not about where we go, but just getting to be together and experiencing new things and building memories.
What do you like to do when you’re not working?
I spend a lot of time with my kids and their activities. I’m very active with my son’s Judo school and we travel all around with the team for tournaments. He has a blast with his friends. I love fishing. I exercise when I can and we love trying different food spots in search of unique foods.
What’s a fun fact you think people might not know about you?
I’ve been in IT since December 2004. It was the time when I started working part-time at High Tech Los Angeles while I was also a senior in high school.
